Two teams of colleagues from Vopak Horizon Fujairah took part in the RAK Half Marathon, under the team relay challenge event held on the 19th of Feb 2010 and collected 53,745 AED for The Angel Appeal charity (http://www.angelappeal.com/).

The Angel Appeal is the organization behind The Flying Angel, a vessel built and funded by charitable gifts. The Flying Angel provides seafarers at anchor off the coast of Fujairah with support and vital contact with family and friends. Out of a total of 125 relay teams, our first team finished 15th completing the race in a time of 1:48:41, whereas our second team finished 61st clocking a time of 2:08:40.
