Vopak Horizon Fujairah Ltd. celebrates its 10th anniversary. On December 7, 1998  the first  vessel arrived at our terminal to unload gasoline. On 20 January 1999 His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah and Member of the Supreme Council officially opened the terminal.
Since the arrvial of the first vessel, almost 6,000 vessels have visited our terminal. During the first years the Vopak Horizon Fujairah terminal had a capacity of 500.000 cbm. Today we can offer our valued customers about 1,5 million cbm of storage capacity. We are very proud to see that our terminal has developed into one of the main bunkering centers in the world and as an important hub for the clean petroleum product and fuel oil trade in the Middle East. Vopak Horizon Fujairah has an excellent track record on safety and service and has recently obtained the ISO 14001 for environmental management.

In the coming months there will be celebrations under the theme ‘10 years of dedicated service’.
