Ever since the start of Vopak Horizon Fujairah in 1999 the company has been continuously building. The commissioning of phase one 489,000 cbm in 1999 was followed by commissioning of phases 2 and 3 in 2000 and 2001 adding a capacity of 323,000 cbm. In 2003 the Single Point Mooring Buoy was commissioned, followed by phase 4 in 2004 with a capacity of 300,000 cbm. Four years later an additional 380,000 cbm was commissioned in phase 5. With phase 6 expansion Vopak Horizon Fujairah terminal will serve the oil storage market with a total capacity of 2,1 million cbm by the first quarter of 2012.
